Winter Christmas Card...

Hello everyone...!!
November is coming to an end.. and in a few days December starts...
Our rainy season comes late this year...but luckily the weather is cooler these days..
And for us...December means the season of joy and merriment...the time to celebrate Christmas & a time of giving

Crafting a Christmas card is quite a challenge for me...since we just have two seasons here in my country
so..here's what I imagine the perfect winter would be like...
The coolness of the air, the winter breeze on your cheeks, the delicacy of the snowflakes...
the blue winter sky, the glimmer of the snowflakes, the softness of the snow...
and best of all the joy in the air..!!!

created the glittery scene by using some different mediums to get different effects...

Thank you for visiting...
have a wonderful days....

Tilda in an altered wall hanging....

Hello..!!
back again here with my Tilda from Magnolia... instead of making a card, I made an altered wall hanging..
I love this cute Autumn Tilda with Pencils, the Turning Leaves 2012 series...she just reminding me of my daughter who is in Primary 6 now... and having her exam for these 2 weeks.. and also preparing herself to take the PSLE next year...

Made this wall hanging just to cheer & lift up her spirit in preparing the BIG exam...

grabbed this wooden wall hanging in a local craft store...still didn't know what to do with it. Put it on my stash for a while...and then it came up in my mind to decorate it with Tilda and make a small box on it...

I colored Tilda using Distress Inks... made some textures on the wooden by applying some Distress Stain & Crackle Paint
decorated it with some flowers, wooden ruler & some dies..

so happy that my daughter loves it soo much...

YOU GO GIRL...!!
WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH...!!

...do the best you can do & be the best you can be...

Christmas cards with Tilda dancing with stars...

Hello all...!!
I'm back again sharing two of my Christmas cards using Tilda dancing with stars
I made these two cards month ago & entering them to a challenge at Magnolia Ink magazine; created Christmas card using Magnolia papers & Doohickeys

For the first card, I created a classic Christmas colors, the red & green combinations. Colored the images using seasonal Christmas Distress Inks, added some Doohickeys tags & poinsettia flowers as the embellishments. Added some textures by sanded the papers and added some crackle paint on the flowers...

I decided to create a white Christmas theme for the second card...still using seasonal Christmas Distress Inks to color the image and added some Doohickeys to decorated the card...

...that's all for today...
and waited patiently to received my Christmas Magnolia Ink magazine...

Thank you for visiting

pssstt...soo happy that my second card is chosen to be one contributor in Magnolia Ink Magazine No.6 2012
( big smile... )
