my gifts to baby Myra....

Hello all...!!
it's a bright Saturday morning here..and the weather is still very hot...
Few months ago a friend of mine had delivered her baby girl, Myra... The best gift I can think of is making a personalized scrapbook for her.
It took me quite some time to finish it since I was a bit lazy because of the hot weather...
Now, finally I can finished 2 layouts instead of 1 as my gifts to her

I think of making 2 girly layouts, so I decided to use my paper collection from Magnolia that I bought months ago and also using some Magnolia stamps & doohickeys for the embellishments...

...and they are ready to be delivered...
hope she likes them

Happy Mooday everyone...!! :)
Welcome to our Lawnscaping Challenge #44...and for this week's challenge, we are talking about a new technique...

So.. enter you cards, layouts or any other projects using some new technique that you haven't try before
and get your chance to win a stamp set from our favorite stamps, Lawn Fawn

Lisa Splanger is still accompanying us here on the challenge as our monthly guest designer with her beautiful creation.

and here's my layout for the challenge...

I just bought my Cameo a month ago and this is the first time I use it to make my own title..  after doing some trial & error... googling or asking for my friend's assistance.. finally I can make the title "our mother" by merging all the letters together...
I also put on some utee on it to make some dimension and using my brand new melting pot... it's rather challenging though... if we put it too long on the pot, the paper will be burn.. luckily, I did some trial before...

This is a bit of my story about using some new technique... how about yours??

Lawnscaping Blog Hop....Fall

Hello..hello.. hello...
Now is time for Lawnscaping Blog Hop....and.. it's about Fall...

Thank you Jennifer for guiding all of you here in my blog

FALL...!!
hhmmm... I was so nervous when the group was decided to make a fall theme for the blog hop. I live in Indonesia & we just have 2 season here, summer and rainy season. So... it took me quite some time to think what am I going to make... and... I don't have any Lawn Fawn stamp sets related to the theme.
Luckily... there's a local online shop that still have a stock of So Thankful mini stamp set & ask them to delivered it right to me.
Then... it's time to think what kind of projects I will make,
how they will turn out to be or what's the color compositions...
Flashing back to some memories of my visit to America last year, just exactly during Fall - Winter season... loving these pictures as I looking through some pictures that I captured during my visit... & use them as the color guidance

All I could see was yellow everywhere.. pumpkins by the supermarkets or by the porches around the neighborhood... falling leaves... yellow corn field & the breezy winds...
It's really beautiful...!!
...and below are my projects that came up with the inspiration above
It took me 2 days to finish my projects for the hop... one scenic layering card, one treat box and 2 tags...

feel so relief that I finally could make this projects...

Next... don't forget to visit Kari Webster to see her gorgeous creation... or if you loose track, just go back to Lawnscaping Blog to see all the hop participants & some prizes you could win
