Daddy's Birthday

Today is my husband's birthday...  Sacca wanted to give him a birthday present and of course a card...
A few days ago, she watched a movie, National Treasure. It was about an adventure to find treasures. There was a setting in the ancient city along with all the ancient treasures....and she was wondering if she could experienced it....
The movie was influenced her for a few days until she wanted to make a vintage birthday card for her Daddy....

So....here's the card....
it took us 2 hours to make it....

Altered Memo Pads

A few months ago, I was looking for something to display my scrapbook layout. Then I found a wooden stand that painters usually use to display theirs. It comes in a package with watercolor paints, paint brushes and  also the palette and to my surprise there were 3 acid free 6" x 8" chipboards.
I was sitting with my daughter, thinking what to do with these boards.
Then we remembered that most of the girls like to collect some cute memos. So we came up with the idea to decorate the chipboards as the memo pads

Hootie

This is my daughter, Sacca's most favorite card. She asked me to keep this as one of the collection.
I bought the stamp from Hampton Arts for almost a year. I still didn't knew what to create with the stamp. Until a few months ago, during my trip, I  bought 6" x 6" paper pad from My Mind's Eye, Fine & Dandy series. Then, I came up with the idea to create this card.

Shawn

More than a month ago, my friend gave birth to a baby boy. I came up with the idea of giving her a scrapbook....
This was my first boy theme layout... which was also a challenge for me....
I don't have enough supplies for a boy theme, so I cut some papers to make the train...used some punches from Clara Craft to make the space ships...
and.....she is happy with the present......yay....!!

Have a Great Day Card

This Mimi stamp from Penny Black is cute...since the first time I saw it.
Once I got the stamp delivered, I made this card.... Colored it with Copic and matched it with the paper from the October Afternoon Series.
I also cut some papers for the clouds and the tree....
